The 2nd Annual Tasting Under the Redwoods was a huge success and Erik’s DeliCafé is honored to be a part of this event for the second year in a row. Erik’s, along with many other local restaurants, wineries, and breweries, came together to feed over 400 guests to help raise money to provide food and emergency services to low-income residents in the San Lorenzo Valley, Scotts Valley, and Boony Doon.

2nd ANNUAL TASTING UNDER THE REDWOODS – ROARING SUCCESS AT ROARING CAMP
The 2nd Annual Tasting Under The Redwoods, a fundraiser to benefit the nonprofit Valley Churches United, Ben Lomond, was held on Sunday, August 14 at Roaring Camp’s Bret Harte Hall.
While over 400 guests enjoyed the fine wine, craft beers, and a wide variety of food from local restaurants and caterers, they were entertained with the upbeat music of Soul Doubt, Santa Cruz.
Although final numbers have not been tabulated, the afternoon event garnered over $25,000 for Valley Churches United, a food pantry and emergency services organization which has been serving the needy in the San Lorenzo Valley, Scotts Valley, and Bonny Doon for over 30 years with no government funding.
Major underwriters for this important annual fundraiser included KSCO, Bay Federal Credit Union, Frank Murphy Team, and Mountain Feed & Farm Supply. Additional support was provided by Liberty Bank and Rotary Club of Santa Cruz.
